Ajisatria Suleiman, Counsel and Advisor, Makes & Partners

Ajisatria Suleiman has been a Counsel and Advisor at Makes & Partners since 2011. He is also a regulatory expert and business practitioner specializing in ICT policy and digital economy, having authored a book, “Digital Safety Net: Social Welfare and Citizen Rights in the Age of Disruption.” He was also a Founding Director of the Indonesian Fintech Association back in 2016. As an ICT policy researcher, he has been with the World Bank Indonesia’s Digital Development Team since 2019, which produced a flagship report on Indonesia’s digital economy. Aji was also an expert advisor at the Directorate General of Aptika of the Ministry of ICT (Kominfo) on digital identity and digital economy from 2019-2022. From 2017-2022, he was Indonesia representative of Asia Internet Coalition (AIC), whose members are global technology companies operating in Southeast Asia, overseeing cross-cutting ICT issues within Southeast Asia, including cyber security, personal data, and cross-border data flow. He is currently an associate expert for digital economy at the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS).

Ardhanti Nurwidya, VP, Head of Public Policy and Government Relations, GoTo Group

Ardhanti joined Gojek in late 2019 as a Senior Manager of Public Policy and Government Relations. In her current role, she is sitting in the HoldCo and assigned to overview personal data protection, technology, intellectual property and digital economy issues. As a subject matter expert, Ardhanti has over 10 years of experience as a tech lawyer and public policy specialist. Prior to Gojek, she worked at Traveloka Group as a Legal Counsel for tech, compliance and policies. Before joining Traveloka, she was a Research Fellow of World Wide Web Foundation covering topics regarding transparency, accountability and open data in Indonesia, and was an Associate at Hiswara Bunjamin and Tandjung in association with Herbert Smith Freehills LLP that was involved in multiple projects with Google, Blackberry, Telstra, China, Telecom, Iflix, Axiata and many others. He had been entrusted with various roles: associate at Bahar & Partners, legal manager of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk, senior counsel at Chevron Indonesia, and legal head of PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari (a member of Zuellig Pharma). Julio Osvaldo Parasian, Assistant Legal Manager, PT Shimizu Bangun Cipta Kontraktor and Shimizu Corporation Jakarta Office

Julio Osvaldo (Julio) started his in-house counsel career in 2016 as a Junior Staff in Shimizu group. He was one of the initiative members of Legal Group Shimizu as the team grows bolder recently. Since June 2021 to June 2024, he returned to Shimizu as Senior Legal Staff and promoted as Assistant Legal Manager in July 2024. For almost 6 years, Julio has performed and contributed to Shimizu organization by being in the establishment of company’s SOP, arrangement of intricate licensing until corporate secretarial matter. He believes that a legal counsel is not only keeping the company abreast with compliance but also bearing an entrepreneurial mindset. Graduated with bachelor’s degree from University of Indonesia, Julio is now also a licensed advocate and member of Dewan Pengacara Nasional since December 2021.

Nanda is a seasoned lawyer with over a decade of experience in M&A, technology, and digital platforms. She began her career at Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung, a leading Jakarta law firm, before transitioning to leadership roles at Halodoc and Tentang Anak, where she built their legal teams from the ground up and developed legal strategies for fast-paced tech environments. Currently, Nanda serves as country counsel for HP, overseeing legal affairs in Indonesia and the Philippines. She has a passion for learning languages and is fluent in English, Bahasa and French, demonstrating her enthusiasm for connecting with different cultures.

Reza Topobroto, General Counsel, VP Legal & Compliance of Telkomsigma

Reza Topobroto is the General Counsel, VP Legal & Compliance of Telkomsigma, a subsidiary of Telkom Group, the largest telco company in SE Asia.   Telkomsigma engages in technology sector, focussing on cloud computing, digital and IT services.  Reza joined Telkomsigma on March 2022. He started his legal career as a practice lawyer in 1997, after moving to several law firms he had a chance promoted as a Senior Associate in Roosdiono & Partners.  In 2005, he shifted careers to corporate counsel by joining Procter & Gamble as Country Counsel Lead. In 2008, Reza was appointed as the Head of Legal for Mondelez (p.k.a Kraft Foods).  In 2012 he joined Microsoft as Director of Corporate, External & Legal Affairs in charge for Indonesia.  After 7 years in Microsoft, he moved to Indosat Ooredoo in 2019, becoming Senior Legal Advisor to the CEO.  On 2021, Reza made decision to step-out from comfort zone by become South East Asia Business Advisor of Jameson Legal Tech, a legal tech consortium marketing based in UK who expanded its coverage to Asia.  In 2022, Reza earned honor to contribute for the nation by joining a state-owned-enterprise group as General Counsel, VP Legal & Compliance of Telkomsigma. Reza was the third President of the Indonesian Corporate Counsel Association (ICCA). He ended his term in 2014 and continues contributions to ICCA through his role on the Supervisory Board. In 2009, together with leaders of associations from other countries, he co-founded the Asia Pacific Corporate Counsel Alliance (APCCA), and further in 2014, he was appointed as the Secretary General of the APCCA.  At present, he still active in APCCA as the Director of Governance and Administration. In 2015, Reza was given the award of ‘Indonesia In-House Lawyer of the Year 2015’ and ‘In-House Legal Team of the Year 2016’ by Asia Legal Business (ALB).  He awarded with another acknowledgement by ALB for Innovative In-House Team of the Year 2020.  In 2022, Reza earned another award from Hukumonline for Most Respected Indonesia In-House Counsel for Technology Sector. Reza obtained his law degree at Trisakti University, Jakarta in 1997, and his Master of Laws at Monash University, Melbourne in 2003.

Tri Gati Mareta, AVP of Legal, Bukalapak

Mareta is a law graduate from University of Gadjah Mada. She went on to complete her Master of Law from University of Melbourne in 2017. Mareta began her career as inhouse lawyer at the biggest cement company in Indonesia and also a state-owned enterprise, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., previously known as PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. After spending almost 2 years as managing associate in MDC, member firm of PwC Global Network, she is now joining Bukalapak as Head of Legal & Compliance. Mareta has served as head of legal & compliance and has advised various legal matters including company restructuring, personal data protection, fund raising, merger and acquisition, mining, employment, capital market, commercial contracts, litigation, financial technology, financing, personal data protection, good corporate governance and general corporate matters.
